Patching & repairs

Small holes and cracks in the walls and ceilings of a property can often be repaired without the need for a full re-skimming, ultimately saving you money in the long run.

Artex removal & ceiling skimming

Artex can usually be removed without the need to replace or even cover the existing ceiling. A plaster is applied in order to remove the rough texture, this is followed up by a final skim, eventually leaving the ceiling with a perfectly smooth finish.

Wall & ceiling skimming

The aging walls and ceilings of a property can be given a skim and 2 coats of finishing plaster. This leaves a nice, smooth wall or ceiling that is prepared and ready for painting.

Stud walls & partitions

Either of these can be erected in order to separate rooms or to perhaps form storage cupboards etc. Once they are built, they are usually insulated, plasterboarded and a final plaster skim applied.

Plaster-boarding (ceilings & walls)

All projects that need plasterboard are fitted with angle beads in order to form a perfect finish and the joints are taped. This process eliminates the possibility of cracking when the final plaster skim is applied later on.

Dot & Dabbing

This is another form of plaster boarding. Dot and Dabbing is often mainly used on bare brick or block work walls. The plaster boards are secured using a drywall adhesive, as opposed to the use of screws. The process of dot and dabbing is much quicker and less costly than the more traditional method.

The process of rendering forms a protective coating for the external walls of a property.Our rendering services can range from small rendering repairs to a complete property over-haul. We also provide a wide range of varied textures to finish rendering jobs - from pebble-dashing to tyrolean.
